Office Administrator


Position Summary

Visonex is a fast paced, dynamic information technology company headquartered in Green Bay, WI. Due to growth, Visonex is in need of a highly motivated Office Administrator to assist with the daily functions of conducting business. This position is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of visitors, telephone calls and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support all departments. The position also includes the operation and presentation of a professional office.

Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, Internet research and working in Excel. Strong communicational skills a must.



  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Make travel reservations
  • Take direction from Visonex staff and assist as needed
  • Organize meeting notes, put into files
  • General filing
  • Order supplies
  • Data Entry
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for up to eight hours, and stand. Manual dexterity which allows the individual to use hands to type on a keyboard, use a mouse and write are required, as is the ability to talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
